Hi, I’m Paras Sharma.
I’m an 18-year-old self-taught web developer from India, passionate about turning ideas into clean, functional, and meaningful digital products. I believe in building with empathy, clarity, and precision—crafting tools that people actually want to use.
Education
While my academic journey hasn’t followed a traditional path, it has shaped my resilience, curiosity, and determination to learn beyond the classroom.
RBSE 10th Grade
Year: 2023
Score: 64.33%
My early interest in logical subjects like mathematics led me to explore programming. It was during this time that I began questioning the limits of traditional education—and started charting my own path.
CBSE 12th Grade
Year: 2025
Score: 38.60% (Essential Repeat)
Despite underperforming academically, I immersed myself in coding—teaching myself web development, scripting, and backend logic. These efforts sparked a journey of self-reinvention and practical learning.
Independent Learning & Technical Growth
Most of what I know today, I learned by building, breaking, and trying again. Here's a glimpse of my technical evolution:
Python Programming
Since: Nov 2021
Python gave me my start—opening doors to automation, APIs, OOP, and backend logic. I used it to build utilities and understand the backbone of application development.
Web Development
Since: Oct 2023
HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Node.js, MongoDB—this is my home now. From UI to authentication, I’ve built full-stack apps with real-world features and real users.
C++ & Data Structures
Since: Mar 2025
I’m currently sharpening my skills in C++ and algorithms to deepen my understanding of efficiency, memory, and core problem-solving patterns.
Freelance Services
I work with individuals, founders, and early-stage startups to build fast, modern websites and applications tailored to their goals.
Whether it's a sleek landing page or a complete SaaS product, I offer frontend + backend development using React, Node.js, MongoDB, and integrations like Razorpay, JWT auth, and Cron jobs.
One example is SilentGoals.app — a privacy-first productivity app I designed, built, and deployed end-to-end.
Project Spotlight: SilentGoals.app 📁 Archived
SilentGoals.app was a minimalist, private space for tracking goals, moods, and journaling. Designed for quiet creators, it was built with the MEN stack and focused on UX, speed, and intentional design.
🌟 Features:
- 🎯 Goal prioritization, tagging, and progress tracking
- 📈 Mood analytics and weekly insights
- 📓 Autosaving journal with reflection linking
- 🔐 JWT authentication with device-aware 2FA
- 💳 Razorpay-powered premium tier + PDF receipts
- 📊 Charts, streaks, and meaningful stats
Why I Archived It:
In June 2025, after the tragic AI171 air crash, I experienced a period of deep emotional difficulty. The event profoundly impacted my mental well-being and creative momentum. Instead of forcing progress, I made the mindful decision to step back from the project—to reflect, heal, and return with intention when the time felt right.
Though archived, SilentGoals taught me more than any tutorial ever could—about engineering, user empathy, and the importance of building with intention. Its values continue to shape how I create today.
